ALPHA PHI ALPHA FRATERNITY, INC. POLICY ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT, MISCONDUCT, AND ABUSE
1. The fraternity will not tolerate or condone any form of sexist or sexually abusive behavior on the part of its members, whether physical, mental or emotional.
2. This is to include any actions, activities or events, whether on chapter premises or an off-site location which are demeaning to women or men, including but not limited to unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal, non-verbal or physical conduct of a sexually harassing nature.
3. The sections titled, Reporting Sexual Misconduct and Investigated Sexual Misconduct, provided detailed overviews of how to both report sexual misconduct within the Fraternity and the internal investigation process.
4. It is also important to remember to report to authorities, when necessary.

In 2016 at PSU, there were 33 reported rape offenses and a 54% crime rate, there were zero arrests.

In 2017 at PSU, there were 30 reported rape offenses and a 49% crime rate, there were zero arrests.

In 2018 at PSU, there were 45 reported rape offenses and a 72% crime rate, there were zero arrests.

Sexual violence is common. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men experienced sexual violence involving physical contact during their lifetimes.

Sexual violence is costly. Recent estimates put the cost of rape at $122,461 per victim, including medical costs, lost productivity, criminal justice activities, and other costs.
